On day2 of IPL12 (24 March 2019), the big story was Rishabh Pant’s 78 off 27 balls in the Delhi Capitals Vs Mumbai Indians match at the Wankhade Stadium in Mumbai. At one point, he had 0 runs from four balls in this innings which is the four-fastest IPL innings ever (innings of 20 balls or more). The way he did not spare, the world’s best bowler now, Jasprit Bumrah, was a visual treat. He even hit a helicopter six off Bumrah.
When it comes to the fight for biblical doctrine, we do not have to spare anyone. Just because a popular person, or a big pastor, or a influential man of God (so-called) preaches a false doctrine, it does not mean, we just keep quiet. Apostle Paul was Peter’s junior. Peter accepted Jesus much before Paul and was in the ministry much before Paul. But when he spotted casteistic behavior in Peter, Paul opposed him to the face. The Bible says, ‘When Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned’ (Gal. 2:11). Even if an angel preached a Gospel other than the Gospel which the apostles preached (Peter/Paul/James/etc), we must oppose that Gospel tooth and nail, the Bible says (Gal. 1:8). These biblical examples motivate me to fight false teachings like hyper-grace, immortality on earth, even though some big, popular “big” pastors preach it.
