A woman’s nakedness belongs to the eyes of her husband alone and the man’s nakedness belongs to the eyes of his wife alone – that is the message of Leviticus 18 a chapter in which we repeatedly read this phrase, ‘you shall not uncover the nakedness of ….’ (v. 7,8,,9,10,11,12,13,14 – a total of 14 references like this in the ESV, NKJV, NASB). Joseph called sex between willing partners not married to each other – not just rape or minors sex – as “great wickedness” and “sin” (Gen. 39:9). Let our ethics be shaped by Scripture and not the ethics of porn producers.
